Eastern View of La Crosse

This is the view of the Mississippi river valley and the city of La Crosse from the NOAA National Weather Service radar station on the top of the eastern bluff. We hiked several miles of uninterrupted nature trails from the Mississippi river, through the La Crosse River Myrick Marsh and the Hixon Forest Nature Area to the top of the bluff. Believe me, the last half mile is the toughest!
