This is a summer shot of the water monitoring station at the pond site. The water has been very clear this year due to lack of significant rain events. Two days ago we received 1.06" rainfall - all of which soaked in. The pond is slowly filling in, creating a perfect habitat for wading birds, turtles, frogs, cattails and other shallow water plants, AND DRAGONFLYS!
