50th Birthday Canoe trip

This was one of the sights along the Cannon River, just north of Limberlost, on the journey to the junction with the Mississippi! Our ill-fated journey resulted in a hole in the bottom of the aluminum boat.

Canoe trips sometimes do become metaphors for life events. A hole in the boat, for example - unexpected, causing a pause or delay, but usually not life threatening, or permanantly debilitating. Patch it up and continue!
